Season Greetings Essential Pieces,
You made it through another week. I hope that many of you will find SMART Tutor helpful for intervention purposes. Please bring your CFA data to PLCs this week. We will be reviewing the data for discussion. This week the PTA will be selling holiday gifts through Santa Workshop. This is a fundraiser for the PTA. Please encourage the students to buy gift items from Santa’s Shop. The prices are very economical. Please remember to pay your PTA Dues. The “T” in PTA stands for teacher. We are apart of this organization and we do not want to give off the impression that the school does not support the PTA.
Please remember we will have a holiday program on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 6:00pm. We will also have our staff holiday luncheon on the 17th. We will let you know about coverage later on in the week. On Friday, December 18, 2009 we will have a holiday open house during the school day for our parents. Parents will do a holiday craft with their child. We will also have a holiday sing along in the Gym at 2:00pm. Where we will sing holiday carols together as a school. Everyone should report to the gym at 2:00. Please remember there will be know afternoon specials on December 18th. Specialists are expected to help with craft activities.
Thank you, Mrs. Crim for organizing and collecting donations for our families who are in need of a little extra help this Holiday Season. Thank you to all of you who have contributed to the spirit of giving. Please keep all of our families in your thoughts and prayers over the break. I hope that we all return from break safe and sound!
Happy Holidays,
Karen Morning-Cain

Weekly Wrap for Nov 30th.
Season greetings Essential pieces!,
Welcome to our blog! I hope you all had a great week back at work. This week 3rd and 4th grade were able to participate in our newly implemented monthly planning day. They were able to accomplish several weeks of planning. Thank you to Mr. Maglio for putting the schedule together to make this happen! Please remember that you should be following your daily schedule. I have noticed that several of you have not been following your schedules or you are at least 15 to 25 minutes behind. Please make sure your objectives are current and your essential questions should be posted for each subject area. It is the expectation that you implement strategies and activities from your Partners in Mathematics training and indicators into your daily instruction. I have seen some of you use the activities from the trainings, however that is just a few. This is not optional, this is the expectation. Please make sure you are posting up quality student work. Several of you do not have quality student work samples posted inside or outside of your rooms. Please remember to do this.
Important Reminders:
